Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Challenging Problems

March 9, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

This training will teach clinicians how to teach their clients about, and change, the beliefs which lead to considerable suffering, even disability, in adulthood. These beliefs–called “core beliefs”– are self-accusations such as, “I am unlovable,” “I am worthless,” “I am helpless,” and so on.
Noah will teach you powerful, practical techniques to pinpoint your clients’ Self-Defeating Beliefs, such as the Downward Arrow, as well as techniques to modify those beliefs, including the Continuum technique, the Trial, and the Positive Data Log. You will watch videos and see live demonstrations of methods, as well as participate in fun experiential exercises in small groups to boost your learning and mastery.
