Snapshot of the Workforce
Brief analysis of the NYC Peer and Community Health Worker Workforce | Report: 2019-2021
Update on Open Jobs Report
Unfortunately, we no longer have access to the program used to create the Open Jobs report from the most popular Job Search and Employment Agencies. We want to thank Curtis Dann-Messier with the New York City Peer and Community Health Worker Workforce Consortium for providing that report to us for the past year.
Tips for creating your own open jobs report
It might take a little bit of time, but if you want to follow the strategy used to generate the Open Jobs report, you can start with the following search terms (using only those terms most relevant to the position you are seeking) and enter those search terms with the employment agencies listed below.
For example, you can create a search on Indeed using the term “peer specialist” and then look for a specific location. In the case of this sample report, I’ve selected New York State to view jobs across the entire state.
- Family Advocate
- Family Peer
- Forensic Peer
- Housing Peer
- Justice Peer
- Outreach Specialist
- Peer Advocate
- Peer Coordinator
- Peer Coach
- Peer Companion
- Peer Counselor
- Peer Educator
- Peer Mentor
- Peer Navigator
- Peer Specialist
- Peer Support
- Peer Supervisor
- Recovery Peer
- Respite Care
- Respite Specialist
- Respite Worker
- Supportive Housing Specialist
- Youth Advocate
- Youth Peer Advocate
